What an amazing experience catering at the Wooden Roots Experience 2026! 🌍🥁🔥

It was a real pleasure providing food for the talented West African artists, drummers and dancers, as well as the hardworking team.

The weekend was filled with incredible energy, culture, music and movement—and we’re grateful that The Food Plug got to play a part in it. 🙌🏾

Being the cook meant I was busy behind the scenes, so unfortunately I couldn’t capture as much footage as I would have liked—but sometimes you’re too busy working to record the moment! 👨🏾‍🍳😂

A massive thank you to the team for having us. It was a great experience, and we hope everyone enjoyed the food! 💙

we recently took the big blue truck down to Bristol to cater for birthday brunch—and what a vibe it was! 🎉💙

The food went down a treat, but what made the trip even more special was the love we received. A massive thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome and treated us like family, both during the event and outside of the catering. Bristol, you really showed us love! 🙌🏾

A big happy birthday to my brother Simeon, and thank you for choosing The Food Plug to be part of your special celebration. 👊🏽

We’d absolutely love to return—and we’re already looking forward to bringing the truck and the flavours back to Bristol very soon! 👀🔥
