How annoying, we had a lovely team night last night but forgot to take a photo 🙈

Quick meeting/updates, followed by a bit of Herd Mentality & a Chinese takeaway - a little treat for everyone’s hard work.

So here’s a pic we took earlier in the day!

September’s here & we are looking forward to all the exciting things we’ve got planned! Evening workshops, Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival , Halloween and we are busy finalising our festive plans too.

The Cafe staffing juggle…

Will it be busy? Will it be quiet?

If it’s hot, will no one leave their house or all go to the beach? Or will they all come in for iced coffees & milkshakes?

If it’s rainy, will everyone stay home? Or will everyone come to the cafe all at the same time?

Ooh payday weekend, will everyone come in for a treat? Or will everyone go somewhere else for a treat?

It’s a mystery and if you’re a regular customer you’ll know we have weird quiet moments and funny crazy busy moments. If we had a crystal ball, we’d be millionaires!

So if you’re order is a little slow one day, sorry, we are trying our best to have the right amount of staff but we seem to have misplaced our psychic powers 😂

We love the unexpected, ever changing days, it’s the joy of hospitality! And in our community it’s even more special as we get to share it with you 🫶🏽

Thursday Night Special

We open every Thursday until 9pm, serving food right through til 8pm.

As well as our usual menu, we have a couple of burger options, loaded wedges and a weekly special. This week it’s the return of the Katsu Curry - either Tofu & Broccoli Bites or a ‘Chick’n’ style with our homemade katsu sauce. Yum!!
