16 th May alpaca experience with Liam and I came out to the fields to say hello and snapped a few photos as well .
Maise and Misfire were visiting alpacas waiting to be shorn . They were both from Hilly Ridge and went to their new home in Lawshall. We give the new owners help with finding a shearer or them coming back here to be shorn.
Wow Maise really loved meeting people and loved the attentions and was giving alpaca kisses out and great selfies .

Now all shorn ans back at home . We will be taking one of our stud males out to meet Maise in the next few weeks which is exciting to see who the new owners will choose !

Thank you for your visit enjoy your photos

Saturday 16th May 1:30pm Alpaca walk with Liam

Now for the afternoon walk we had Hurricane, Apollo and Loki again but we added Icarus, The Accomplice and Gary too which was their last day before being sheared.

During the walk all the boys did a great job of being walked although Gary did have a little dip in the stream as seen by his wet front legs.

Once we got back we went and fed our other alpacas and they ate up all the food very quickly. Next we went to the goats and got to fed the older girls and have a cuddle with their kids.

We finished off with the obstacle course and this time Loki took first place and got to have a victory snack.

Thank you so much for visiting and we hope you had a great time.

Saturday 16th May 10:30am Alpaca walk with Liam

For this walk we had some nice warm weather and decided to bring out Hurricane, Apollo and Loki who were all well behaved and saw something at the end of the driveway that they all needed to investigate.

Once we made our way back to the farm we met and fed our young boys and our girls who all love the attention and food.
We then saw our goats and some of their kids and had a little cuddle with them too.

To finish up the experience we did the alpaca obstacle course where Apollo came in first.

Thank you so much for visiting and we hope you had a great time.

Friday 29th May 2026 alpaca experience with Jo.

Beautiful sunshine and blue skies . We were joined on the walk by a student who is studying to become a vet and came to learn more about alpacas and goats 🐐 šŸ¦™.
So Heidi took Micky out for a walk to keep him up to date as he is soon leaving the farm with three friends to live in Scotland

This walk we had some people who had been before and had their alpaca walking qualification from their last visit so they took Little Mo and swapped half way around with Micky .

Loki , Apollo and Stirling and Hurricane made up the team who enjoyed the grass , walk and of course the rolling in the dirt on the tracks !

The obstacle course was won by Apollo Mr Supersonic .

Thank you all for visiting we hope you had a great time .

So as Scott and I set off bright and early for The Northumberland show I had a funny feeling one of our alpacas would decided to birth that day !

Always listen to funny feeling as about two hours into our journey we got a call from Esmee who was looking after the farm with Liam that Gypsy ( aka Baby ) had gone into labour .

Typical !

Now as you all know the first birth or the year is both exciting and worrying and by the time you get to the end of the birthing season you are so laid back about it you go and have a cup of tea while they are in labour !

Esmee this was her first solo birth and Liam was on hand as a back up . Mel was also on farm and said she was quite happy watching and making tea for everyone !

With regular updates all went smoothly and a 9.6kg healthy baby girl arrived by Ashwood Monty .

Waiting for updates while on a journey is the worst especially as I’m a control freak and like to be on hand at birthing times !
The team did a fabulous job even with me constantly calling asking for updates !

Soon up and running and now bouncing around the field !

What a fabulous team we have here and I cannot thank them enough for coping while we were away and keeping the farm going with births , new born baby goats , alpaca and goats experience and the day to day running of the farm !

We returned home last night after a fabulous time at the Northumberland show straight in the barn to see the new arrival who spent today running around the field .

āļø Congratulations to Bramble lodge Alpacas šŸ¦™ who purchased the dam pregnant and now have a stunning female cria ! āļø
We are so pleased to release one of our Daybreaker females to you and with the Monty combination and a female cria you have a fabulous package.

Sunday 24th May 2026 alpaca experience at 13.30 with Jo
and Esmee .

Loved this afternoons walk great weather great visitors to spend the afternoon with who had a real love of the animals which was lovely 🄰.

The boys had a great time trimming the grass in the cafe area and then setting off for a leisurely walk through the countryside .

Monty joins the walk this afternoon and looked fabulous as always ! Such a diva . Kevin did his usual and the himself on the floor , gary , Stirling and icarius loved the bushes while loki and Hurricane held it together !
The star of the day for me was Little Mo .
Little Mo came back into work today after a few weeks off to grow and learn from his initial training and he was so pleased to walk out with the team as proud as punch ! He took on the challenge he of the obstacle course and remembered all he had been taught I was so proud !

The baby goats and new baby alpaca really love to see people and today I really thought we would have another cria ( baby alpaca ) as HR High Jinx is really looking ready to pop !

Maybe tomorrow !

Jinx is mated to Wildcard so I’m hoping for a fawn female !!!
Let see !

The obstacle course was won again by Loki ! Two in a row . The little man is a star and who were his visitors who took him around the course and took the red rosettes šŸµļø.

Well done . Thank you for your visit we really enjoyed your company today and thank you for your very kind comments x

Enjoy your photos
