Mincers going, burgers have been made and we are filled to the brim with Steaks from Willowford Farm!

Father’s Day tomorrow, why not treat him to a Dry Aged Steak - Hung for 28 days on the bone to enhance that lovely beefy flavour.

5 for £35.00 has been topped up with all the meals we have time to make! Just making a wee batch of sausage and burgers to go in there too.

Fresh rolls from Cameron’s of Selkirk due here in the next hour or so.

Plenty Kebabs, Stir fry’s and other tasty treats available on the counter.

Just a wee appreciation post!

Anyone who was in the shop today will probably have noticed that we had a lack of Burgers, Sausages and Mince and that’s because we’ve had a small mishap with our mincer and it’s currently out of action ☹️😢

Fortunately we have some top notch neighbours in the butchery world and have had some help from them! Thanks to Drew at Denholm Meat Supplies and Neil at Macvicars Of Melrose who answered the call and have got me up and running again! Back to normality tomorrow 😎😍

Cheers anaw to James and Mark up in Falkirk who kindly offered me their mincer for the weekend and also to George at Shaws of Lauder and Steven Strachan up in Lararkshire for passing on a few contacts to try get me going again!

Exciting evening with the arrival of our Newest Member of the Herd!

Absolutely delighted with our purchase of Vogue - a classy Limmy Hef from the Sydenham Send Off sale. Thanks to Bob, Becca and team for kindly delivering her to her new home.

Theo fairly enjoyed watching her meeting the rest of the heifers and of course the bull.

Thanks as always to Ian and co at Upper Samieston for letting us pretend to be farmers with our few cattle and ewes he keeps for us 🤝

I didn’t manage to get any up close pictures of Vogue but I did manage to get this belter of the wee man rocking his new AB WIGHT Engineering boiler suit! Who knows… he might have a few cattle of his own one day 😍💪🏽

Don’t let the cones put you off! We are still open and trading as usual. Likewise with most other shops on the street. Plenty parking at the top and bottom of the town.

I’m not 100% sure why they have stopped the parking on the high street and as per usual there’s no sign of any workers to do any kind of work but we’d appreciate your support this week more than ever… it’s gonna be a tough one!
