Timothy Taylor's Brewery

Timothy Taylor's Brewery More than 165 years on, Timothy Taylor’s continues to set the gold standard for authentic cask beer.

Founded in Keighley, West Yorkshire in 1858, Timothy Taylor’s is one of Britain’s most respected independent, family-owned breweries and a proud champion of cask ale. Still brewing at Knowle Spring Brewery, where Timothy Taylor moved in 1863, the brewery remains true to its Yorkshire roots and long-held belief that great beer takes time, care and the finest ingredients.

A fresh look for Timothy Taylor's. 🍺

Today, we’re proud to unveil our first major brand refresh in more than a decade, introducing a fresh new look across our logo, pump clips, glassware and bottles, marking the next chapter in our 168-year story and our continued investment in the future of cask ale.

While the way we present Timothy Taylor's is evolving, everything that has made our beers loved for generations remains unchanged. The same recipes. The same carefully selected ingredients.

The same brewing philosophy. And, most importantly, the same unmistakable taste of Taylor’s.

You'll start spotting the new look across our beers, pubs and beyond from today, and you can read more about it here: www.timothytaylor.co.uk/news/timothy-taylors-brand-refresh-new-look-same-great-beer

Before a pint reaches the bar, it spends time conditioning in the pub cellar – a crucial stage in developing flavour, clarity and balance.

Cask ale is a living product. In the cellar, it is allowed to settle naturally and mature under carefully managed conditions. Temperature control, correct venting and patient handling ensure the beer clarifies properly and reaches its peak.

This stage is essential. Done well, it ensures the beer pours bright, tastes balanced and delivers the smooth character we brewed into it. It’s the bridge between brewery and bar – and a vital step in ensuring your pint tastes exactly as it should.
