Not only are Co-op carrier bags compostable, but the 10p you spend on them goes towards helping young people access career opportunities in green industries. Co-op's £2.4million Green Opportunities Fund partnership with their charity, Co-op Foundation will support a range of organisations across the UK that are all equipping young people with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in green jobs. Find out more about what they're doing here https://www.coopfoundation.org.uk/blog/meet-our-green-opportunities-fund-partners/
