Join us for a Little Brown Dog tasting hosted by Andrew Smith, co-founder of the Aberdeenshire independent bottler. The evening will feature six drams spanning their recent releases, including the newly launched Aberdeenshire Single Malt, their first core expression in eight years of bottling, alongside an unreleased Orkney single malt.

Having built "LBD" from a farm-based maturation warehouse in rural Aberdeenshire, Andrew will share insight into cask selection, the thinking behind the first core release, and future plans. Andrew is not a traditional host. Come for the whisky, stay for the company.

Join us for a Tormore tasting hosted by Oliver Chilton, Head Blender at Elixir Distillers, owners of the distillery. The evening will feature the newly launched Tormore core range, including Timeless, the 12 Year Old and the 16 Year Old, alongside two cask samples selected by Oliver.

With extensive experience across the whisky industry, Oliver will share insight into the development of the new range, Tormore’s evolving style and the casks shaping its future.

Our Malt of the Month for August is the Bunnahabhain Staoisha 6yo Watt Whisky. Available at its featured price for the month while stocks last.

A peated, single cask release from the Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay, by independent bottler Watt Whisky. Distilled in 2019, matured for 6 years in a sherry hogshead and bottled in 2025. Only 330 bottles produced.

The new Tormore core range launched this month, and we’re thrilled to have the full line-up in stock. These three permanent expressions mark an important milestone in the distillery’s revival under owners Elixir Distillers.

Timeless is primarily matured in ex-bourbon casks, while the 12 year old incorporates cream sherry casks and toasted new oak. The 16 year old meanwhile, is finished in a combination of sherry casks including French oak Oloroso butts. All priced for drinking and highly recommended!

Breaval 10yo Osprey 46%, £45
Glentauchers 15yo Osprey 46%, £52.50

Small batch releases from the Braeval and Glentauchers distilleries in Speyside, bottled under a new indie brand called Osprey (by Murray McDavid's parent company Aceo). The Braeval is a 10yo matured in Oloroso sherry casks while the Glentauchers is a 15yo matured in bourbon barrels.

Ardnamurchan Tokaji Cask 52%, £69

A limited edition 8 year old from Ardnamurchan in the Highlands. Distilled in 2018 from 100% unpeated spirit, matured in 28 ex-bourbon barrels that were finished for two years in Tokaji casks from Hungary, with two ex-bourbon barrels also included in the vatting.

Expect fresh pear and green apples. Sugared almonds, candied ginger, rose petals and pine wood with a balanced spicy finish.

Mystery Malt Series 6 Thompson Bros, £65

The next series of the acclaimed Mystery Malt is now available from independent bottlers Thompson Bros. The release is taken from 38 different parcels of single malt, drawn from 30 different distilleries across all five official regions of Scotland, with ages ranging from 6 to 29 years old. In line with the Mystery Malt concept, the specifics of each bottle remains a mystery until the bottle’s seal is removed and the contents are disclosed.

The first permanent core range expression, distilled at Glen Garioch, from independent Aberdeenshire producer Little Brown Dog. Matured for 12 years in a combination of 60% first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and 40% Oloroso and PX sherry casks.
