Now in its 22nd edition, this annual publication remains one of the most comprehensive and up-to-date references in the world of wh**ky. This year's edition covers more than 1,000 malt wh**ky distilleries worldwide, alongside tasting notes, industry insights, interviews and articles from leading wh**ky writers.

We're also particularly proud that, for the second time, our very own Wh**kyBrother founder and co-owner, Marc Pendlebury, is featured in this year's edition as part of a series of interviews exploring the theme of "new beginnings".

Borders 8yo First Release 46%, £46.50

A limited edition from the Borders distillery in Hawick, released in September as the distillery's inaugural single malt and the first single malt distilled in the Scottish Borders since 1837. Produced entirely from barley grown within 35 miles of the distillery, distilled in 2018 and matured for eight years in 1st-fill American ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in Malmsey Madeira casks.

Expect rich sultanas and sweet caramel. Ripe berries and stem ginger with a lingering buttery hazelnut nut finish.

Jackton RAER Inaugural Release 48.7%, £68

The inaugural single malt release from the new Jackton Distillery in the Lowlands. Distilled, matured and bottled entirely on site, this limited release establishes the foundation for this independent, family owned approach to single malt and sustainability. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Oloroso sherry casks.

Join us for a Murray McDavid tasting presented by Liam Stephen, Regional Sales Executive. The evening will feature a selection of bottlings from across the Murray McDavid range and the new Osprey releases.

Established in 1996 by the team who went on to revive Bruichladdich, Murray McDavid is an independent bottler now based at the former Coleburn Distillery near Elgin. The company is best known for its focus on cask finishing, a technique it championed under the name ACE (Additional Cask Enhancement).

Springbak 5yo 100 Proof 57.1%, £52.50

A recent addition to the core range from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown, first released last year and released periodically since. Matured for five years in ex-bourbon casks, using the distillery's own floor-malted barley peated to around 12–15ppm, times and bottled at 100 proof under the old British system.

Expect green apple, gorse bush and w**e gums. Well balanced with a touch of peat smoke with a honey and gooseberry finish.

Join us for an evening exploring Woodrow’s of Edinburgh, presented by Woody Tan, Director of Woodrow's. Founded in 2022 and based in Leith, Woodrow's is an independent bottler and blender that sources casks from across Scotland, re-racking and blending to bring out the best in each one. Every release is a single cask, limited, natural colour and non-chill filtered, with the majority bottled at cask strength.

We'll be tasting a mix of recent and brand new releases across a range of cask types, including a 30 year old.

Join us for a Little Brown Dog tasting hosted by Andrew Smith, co-founder of the Aberdeenshire independent bottler. The evening will feature six drams spanning their recent releases, including the newly launched Aberdeenshire Single Malt, their first core expression in eight years of bottling, alongside an unreleased Orkney single malt.

Having built "LBD" from a farm-based maturation warehouse in rural Aberdeenshire, Andrew will share insight into cask selection, the thinking behind the first core release, and future plans. Andrew is not a traditional host. Come for the wh**ky, stay for the company.

A peated, single cask release from the Bunnahabhain distillery on Islay, by independent bottler Watt Wh**ky. Distilled in 2019, matured for 6 years in a sherry hogshead and bottled in 2025. Only 330 bottles produced.
