If you want my recommendations for Manchester I have two; depending upon your mood and what you like to eat.
First is Bar Posie, little sister to Tib Lane restaurant. Posie is very relaxed mid century cool, with cutting edge cocktails, a fab wine list, and a very more ish menu of small plates to go with the drinks. Try everything!
The other one has been my go to for great cocktails for donkeys years. Hawksmoor on Deansgate has a chilled vibe like a gentleman’s club for real people. On the one hand it’s a fantastic steak restaurant with everything you could want as a carnivore.
On the other it’s a creative, but always absolutely reliable high end cocktail bar. Prices are excellent because Hawksmoor’s drinks are superb and the service is always perfect. The ideal balance of friendly and efficient.
We started my birthday at Posie and finished at Hawksmoor.

Cupid's Choice

Book a table for two and we’ll design a bespoke cocktail based on you and your partner’s tastes — created just for your table and no one else.
When making the booking, we'll ask you a series of questions prior to the night to create the perfect cocktail for you and your partner.

As part of your booking, you’ll have the option to leave a personal note for your partner, waiting for them at the table on arrival.

We will be having the addition of live acoustic music throughout the night.

Small, personal touches encouraged when booking.
