❤️🖤 IMPORTANT UPDATE – BILTONG BUDDY 🖤❤️

🚧 BRIDGE CLOSURE & SHOP UPDATE 🚧

Unfortunately, with the bridge being closed and all the disruption around Kendal at the moment, things have become extremely difficult for us. 😔

We're having huge issues just trying to get to the shop ourselves, and we're not sure how many of our customers are also struggling to get into town.

The shop has been extremely quiet, and unfortunately, as a small family-run business, we simply cannot afford to keep paying staff to work when we're not even making enough in sales to cover their wages, never mind the other running costs of keeping the shop open.

❤️ We've therefore made the difficult decision to close for the rest of today (Tuesday) and all day tomorrow (Wednesday)as this is our closed day.

We will be open as per normal On Thursday and Friday but we really need your support.

This isn't a decision we've made lightly, but sometimes we have to make these tough calls to keep our little business going.

If you can make it into the shop when we're open, please pop in and support us.

📦 If the bridge closure, roadworks and traffic are making it difficult to get to us, PLEASE consider ordering online instead!

Our website is open 24/7, and we can post your favourite biltong, droëwors and South African goodies straight to your door via Royal Mail. 🚚

Every single order makes a difference right now. Even if you can't visit us in person, ordering online helps us continue trading, pay our staff and cover our running costs during this difficult period.

We're really hoping things settle down soon, but in the meantime, thank you for sticking with us and supporting our little family-run business. ❤️

Just a little update from us regarding our Winter opening hours. ❄️🇿🇦

Unfortunately, Wednesdays during the winter months are extremely quiet for us — to the point where it’s actually costing us more to open the shop than we’re taking in sales. As a small family-run business, we have to be sensible about our running and staffing costs, especially during the quieter months.

So, from next week, we will be CLOSED on Wednesdays.

Our updated hours will be:

⏰ Monday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
⏰ Tuesday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
❌ Wednesday: CLOSED
⏰ Thursday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
⏰ Friday: 9:30am – 2:30pm
⏰ Saturday: 10am – 3pm
❌ Sunday: CLOSED

💻 Remember, our online shop is always available, so if our opening hours don't work for you, you can still get your Biltong Buddy fix delivered straight to your door! 📦❤️
