ENGLAND’S BEST APERITIF 🏆
What started out as a little passion project for Mike in January 2025, has now been awarded England’s Best Aperitif at the World Liqueur Awards 2026!

We wanted to create a truly natural aperitif to be used in the classic spritz serve as an alternative to the other mass-produced one 🍊

It took us 8 months to get to the final recipe using sweet, Spanish orange peels, bundles of Yorkshire rhubarb and a whole host of aromatics to deliver a complexity of flavour that shines in a Summit Spritz 🥂

Our Lakeland Moon Lake District Sloe Gin — Batch No. 4 — is available on the website right now. Hand-picked sloe berries, that unmistakable deep purple, and a flavour that tastes exactly like the fells look in autumn.

We won’t be making more until the sloes are ripe and juicy in autumn.

Small bottles. A whole lot of love🍍

Every one of our miniatures is filled, capped and labelled by hand right here at the distillery in Kendal. It might be our smallest bottle — but it gets exactly the same care and attention as everything else we make.

Powered by plenty of coffee and a dash of 80’s tunes, we made a couple of thousand of our 5cl Pineapple Spiced Rum bottles before tapping out this time!

WOW 🏆 We’ve been shortlisted!!!

We have been named as one of three finalists in the Makers & Producers Award at the Cumbria Tourism Awards 2026 — and we’re absolutely made up.
This one means a lot.

We’re a small team making and bottling everything by hand here in Kendal in truly, small batches, particularly when it comes to our limited edition, foraged products. To be recognised alongside the best makers and producers in Cumbria is genuinely humbling - best of luck to and 🙌
