Our list of events for September!

We cannot wait to be Westmorland Show next week for the first time as it should be a great event! We are also very much looking forward as always to be back at the award winning Kendal Farmers Market and we’ll return close to home for the Morecambe BID community market! Finally, we’ll also make a first appearance The Market Co - Artisan Market Haigh Woodland Artisan Market - and it won’t be the last!

There will also be two very exciting announcements to come this month, with one of those coming very soon.. Stay tuned!

A message to say that I (and the rest of the family) will be taking a little breather from pistachios as we will be back in our second home (Italia) for a couple of weeks from today.

But don’t worry, we will be back at the start of September to supply you all with our organic pistachio produce at various shows and markets, and through some other exciting ways too.. More to follow soon on that!

Whilst we’re away, you’ll also still be able to buy some of our products through different farm shops and restaurants in North Lancashire and Cumbria.

We are very pleased to announce that our Pistachio Pesto, Dark Chocolate Pistachios and Sticky Pistachio Pudding are now being sold in Spinning Jennies Farm Shop in the heart of Kendal!

So if you’re looking at trying our produce for the first time, or if you’ve already had our produce and would like to buy more, then you have another option instead of having to see me!

As you may have already heard Kendal Farmers Market won the Countryside Alliance Awards in Local Food and Drink across the UK! This is a huge achievement, and at Pistachio & Moore we are so proud to be a part of it all as a trader at the market.

It genuinely is the best Farmers Market around, and whether you’re based near or far, it is definitely worth the visit.

You don’t have to wait long to come either! You can catch us Kendal Farmers Market this coming Friday (14th). Hope to see you some of you there!

We gave a little teaser, and now we can reveal our BRAND NEW PRODUCT - Chilli-roasted Pistachios & Peanuts! A combination of pistachios and peanuts mixed within our secret chilli spice blend and roasted to perfection.

As the Dark Chocolate Pistachios have grown in popularity, I wanted to create a savoury option to go alongside them to satisfy both sweet and savoury needs. Getting the spice blend took some time, and I hope the result is something that you’ll enjoy (as well as being healthy and nutritious!).

You’ll be able to get your hands on a packet of these for the first time tomorrow Clitheroe Food Festival, along with all our other goods!

It’s not food related, even though I can confirm that Owen Oliver loves his food as much as I do… But do check out Double O Football Coaching. Based in Lancaster, Double O Football Coaching is a thriving business led by one of the most driven, energetic people that I know. If you want you, your son/daughter or somebody else you know to progress in football, seek his support as I know first hand how good a coach, and person, he is.

Not only this, but growing a business from scratch, pretty much as a sole trader, is bloody hard work! Being able to share this journey with Owen, who is going through the same ups and downs, makes a huge difference. I encourage anybody on the same path to seek the support that they need, whether it’s family, friends or somebody else.

Lastly, watch this space for a Pistachio - Double O partnership at some point in the future😉😂

Here you are.. Our list of events for August! We are at a number of brilliant shows throughout the month, and it starts straight away Garstang Show on Saturday. We are also Clitheroe Food Festival for the first time, which we cannot wait for!

We are fortunate to be a part of the award winning Kendal Farmers Market, and you’ll find us there on the second Friday of the month. We’ll also be at our second Great British Food Festival at Wentworth Woodhouse, before we head back to Garstang for the The Makers Market!

Alex will be taking a little break during the last week of August and the first week of September to refuel ready for the busy rest of the year.

Hopefully see you at some point during August!

The combination you didn’t know that you needed.. We’ve teamed up with LittleZombie Bakery to provide their customers with two pistachio concoctions!

Firstly, they have created an Iced Oat Pistachio Matcha Latte, enriched with our Sticky Pistachio Sauce. Plus, they have produced a decadent Pistachio and White Chocolate Ice Cream, infused with our naturally-made pistachio butter, and with melted Sticky Pistachio Sauce over the top.

I have tried both of these and can safely say that they taste absolutely amazing, along with all of their other produce. Head over to their social media pages for more information, and watch this space for more pistachio developments..
