There was a time when rides like this would end in tears. We’d have to get on with him just so he’d feel safe enough to stay. Sometimes he’d ask to get off before the ride had even started.

Today, he climbed on by himself, smiled the whole way through, and kept waving at me saying, “Hi Mummy! Bye Mummy!” 🥹❤️

It’s funny how parenthood is made up of these tiny moments that don’t seem like much to anyone else… until you realise they’re quietly showing you just how much your child has grown.

Of course, one ride turned into another… then another… and before I knew it, we’d spent nearly £6 on rides. 😂 I finally had to say, “Okay, that’s enough before you spend all my Facebook earnings in one afternoon!”

And honestly? I’d probably do it all over again just to see that smile.
