This coming Sunday, Faversham steps back into the Victorian age and Victoria's Sponge will be there to cater to all your delicious cake needs!! Brownies, Squares, Slices and Tea Loaves will await you and we will be in Full Victorian Costume, as will every stall holder.

From 10am to 3pm, Market Place and Court Street will be filled with the sights, sounds and characters of a traditional Victorian Whitsun Market & Fair - with Punch & Judy, wandering Dickensian singers, traditional market stalls, tarot readings, a Victorian coconut shy, fairground atmosphere and plenty more besides.

Expect music drifting through the streets. The occasional cry of “That’s the way to do it!” from the Punch & Judy booth. Costumed characters appearing around corners. And a town centre that suddenly feels as though it has slipped backwards in time.

The event is free to attend and forms part of a full day of Victorian-themed entertainment in the town.

Then, at 4.30pm, the day continues with acclaimed actor and writer Gerald Dickens - great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens - appearing live at The Assembly Rooms with an entertaining afternoon of Dickensian performance and storytelling.

One day. One town. And rather more top hats than Faversham usually sees in a year!

Hi Guys, another big weekend for me as I have my usual spot tomorrow (Friday) at Faversham Market where I’ll have lots of Delicious Sliced Cakes, Squares, Brownies and Tea Loaves.

Hi Guys, it’s the Transport Festival in Faversham tomorrow (Saturday) and I’ll have my stall next to the Original GhostBusters Car (the nerd in me is very excited about it!! I’m bringing 4 types of Brownie, Lemon Drizzle, Pineapple Drizzle, Apricot Almond Square, Old School Traybake, Squidgy Chocolate Square, Berry Shortbread Crumble (vegan) Banoffee Shortbread Crumble, Victoria Sponge, Lemon and Lime Layer, Coffee Walnut, Biscoff Cake, Cherry Almond, Carrot Cake, Apple Pie Layer and Tea Loaves!! Hi Guys, it’s a super busy few days for me as I have my Friday Stall at Faversham Market tomorrow and also another Faversham Market stall on Saturday as it’s The Transport Festival this Weekend. It’s over two days but I’m right next to the Ghostbusters Car so should be very busy. The cakes on my Friday stall are Apple Pie Layer, Victoria Sponge (Strawberry) Victoria Sponge (Blackcurrant) Lemon and Lime Layer, Nutella Cake, Cherry Almond, Carrot Cake, Coffee Cake, Lemon Drizzle, Squidgy Chocolate Square, Very Berry and Brownies!! I’ll post a full cake list for Saturdays stall tonight and some details about the Transport Festival (Sat and Sun) Thankyou Vicky 👍🍰🩷
