THANK YOU 🤎

What a weekend it's been 🥹✨

From another lovely Saturday at The Dose of Batter Shed, to my first time at KettFest, and then the amazing response to my spontaneous Sunday Treat Boxes... I just wanted to say thank you 🤎

This weekend definitely came with a few lessons learnt, but overall I'm feeling incredibly grateful. Running a shed, attending events and trying new things is all part of the journey, and every weekend teaches me something new ✨

It was so lovely meeting some of you at KettFest and realising that many of you are already shed visitors 🥹🤎 I also loved hearing compliments about some of my best-selling bakes directly from customers. You all know the way to a baker's heart 😂🤎 Honestly, you made my day.

(Even the fire exit interaction... if you know, you know 😂)

As for the shed camera highlights...

🤎 Seeing children's faces light up (I will never tire of that)
🤎 The interactions between parents and children
🤎 Grandparents, partners and friends stopping by together
🤎 Familiar faces returning week after week
🤎 New faces discovering the shed for the first time
🤎 The little girl who made sure her dad knew his favourite Jammie Dodgers Blondie was there 🥹
🤎 The continued honesty, which was top-notch as always

I genuinely love this community of ours 🤎

And just as a little reminder, all camera footage is deleted after I've gone through it the same day or the day after. The camera is there for security, but I mostly end up enjoying the smiles, waves, greetings and little moments that make the shed so special 🥹🤎

And as for the Sunday Treat Boxes... thank you to everyone who bought one. What started as a spontaneous idea ended up being such a lovely way to finish the weekend. Your kind words about my bakes made me so, so, so happy 😊

Thank you for the support, the encouragement, the tips, the smiles, the compliments and the love you continue to show the shed. I appreciate it more than you know 🤎

Well... after yesterday's shed and KettFest adventures, I have some goodies looking for new homes 🤎

Rather than let them go to waste, I'm putting together a limited number of £10 Surprise Treat Boxes/Bags available for collection from The Dose of Batter Shed today between 2pm–4pm ✨

Each box or bag will contain a random selection of 4 treats which may include:

ANOTHER GOOD DAY AT THE SHED YESTERDAY 🤎☔️🌬️

Well... it turns out many of you said, "come rain, wind or whatever the weather throws at us, we're still going to the shed" 😂🤎

In fact, the baked goods were selling so quickly that I had to do a mini restock (And sorry to the friends I'd put brownies and cookies aside for... they ended up being sold 😂🙈 I'll bake you something else soon 🫣🤎)

It was genuinely lovely to see so many of you in person today. You were all so pleasant and lovely 🤎.

To the 8am early risers who braved the rain, my regulars (yes, I still can't quite believe I can say that 🥹), new faces, children with their parents, dog walkers and their happy dogs, families and everyone in between... thank you 🤎

Also, seeing the happy faces when people spotted the complimentary cookie box was one of my favourite moments of the day 🤎🍪

Some of you also had the wind getting you ready for a modelling shoot 😂🌬️💁‍♀️

Camera highlights this week included the cheerful greetings, the smiles, those of you chatting away to the camera 🤎, the excitement when the thank you cookie box was discovered, mini queues forming outside the shed a few times today, people taking business cards, and visitors spanning across just about every age group imaginable 🤎

Most importantly, the honesty was once again fantastic. All I can say is thank you for continuing to support the shed and proving week after week that community spirit is alive and well 🤎

With only 3 items left unsold, I'd call that a pretty good day ✨. Thank you all for buying from the shed today. I truly appreciate it 🤎

Thank you for another lovely Saturday at The Dose of Batter Shed 🤎☀️

I'll be honest... I genuinely had no idea how yesterday would go. Between the warm weather and holiday season, I imagined lots of people heading off to the beach, visiting family or making the most of the sunshine elsewhere 😂☀️

So to see so many of you stop by the shed throughout the day was really special 🤎

It was especially lovely seeing so many families at the shed. Watching children's faces light up as they spotted the treats was an absolute delight and one of my favourite parts of the day 🥹🤎

Now for this week's camera highlights 👀😂

A special mention has to go to the detailed request/plea for Lemon Coconut Cake delivered directly to the camera. I heard you loud and clear 😂🍋🥥

And then there was the pair with a lovely lady who carefully explained the entire purchasing process, including showing and spelling out her payment of "10 Great British Pounds" 🤣🤎

Another highlight was the two ladies who looked beyond pleasantly surprised when they opened the shed. I genuinely think they froze for a few seconds while taking it all in, like children in a sweet shop 😂🤎

I won't lie... that one had me feeling a little extra proud of my shed 🥹🤎

Honestly, it adds so much fun and personality when you all communicate with the camera as if it's an actual person. I absolutely LOVE it 😂🤎

The honesty system was top-notch once again, and tips were left too! People... please don't make me cry 🥹🤎 You are all just amazing.

We didn't quite sell out this week, but with only around 10% left unsold, I really can't complain. That's still a fantastic result and means less wastage too ✨

Thank you all for your continued support of the shed. It means so much.

I know I say this all the time, but you constantly remind me of the value and importance of community, and I'm genuinely proud to be a part of ours 🤎

Now that all the soppy stuff is out of the way... 😂
