Genie has come a long way in her milking journey this year! 😁

If I'm quick enough, I can now draw with her and save the milk from being spilled (or a dirty hoof going into the pan) which is actually a 🎉WIN🎉 for me

Our Summer season is almost over and the farm will soon be quiet once again 🥹

Don't leave it until the last minute to visit!

We've still got a couple of Open Days left, and our Casual Weekends are still a great way to leisurely enjoy the farm. If you want to extend your stay, our campsite still be open for a little while longer 🏕️

Traditionally we would have had the common daisy to make a soothing bumps & bruises salve. It's close cousin - Arnica - comes from mountainous regions and has become the popular choice over the years.

⛰️ One is imported, the other grows in your back garden

Nicknamed 'poor man's arnica', I find the daisy extremely underrated! Not only is it amazing for healing minor skin complaints, did you know you can also use daisies in tea to ease congestion?

Despite the drought, our greengages seem to have done well in both texture & flavour! Although we're seeing a significant drop in harvest which is a real shame...

We've been busy making preserves which are now ready for sale in our farm shop!

We'll also have a few items fresh from our vegetable garden for sale this weekend 🥒🥬🍆

I really did not need this today 😂

Hope you're all staying cool in this ongoing heat. I'm still finding it very difficult to cope!

Thankfully this weekend will be cooler, and just in time for our upcoming Open Days (every Saturday this month!) and Casual Weekends (now every Sunday when we don't have an event running).

When you come to meet Sawdust, just be careful he doesn't trick you into escaping! 🤣🤣

We couldn't have asked for a better day at our WAM Mini-Festival 2026 event 🎊

Thank you to everyone who attended, we've started off the summer in the best possible way and I hope the good vibes continue throughout this month😁

I hate exposing my emotions (especially to strangers online) but I feel I owe an explanation!

Whilst I try to stay "relevant", and post regularly to stay on the algorithms of social media, I do find it difficult to be consistent. I often get overwhelmed and distance myself, convincing my ego that people won't care anywhere whether I post or not this week.

Most of you know by now that I have taken on major responsibilities on the farm 🚜🌾 my capacity to keep on top of media has both increased (as I'm more involved with the day-to-day operations) and decreased (as my time has become very demanding in all fields). My hands are often covered in dirt and other 'business', so using a phone to record is not always sanitary 😅 or I'm simply too focused that I forget to set up!

I'm so thankful that I have a close relationship to a lot of our followers and can openly talk about what's going on. Our community is so supportive and I have to remind myself of that sometimes.

We have a lot going on this summer 🌼 with the mini-fest this Saturday kicking everything off! It's going to be an amazing day full of activities for all the family! Despite my pre-event stress, the beautiful vibes on the day are well worth it ❤
