A couple of new natural dyes from plants pruned from bushes which are plentiful on the wonderful dog walk at Machrahanish Holiday Park Machrihanish Holiday Park - I’m curious what you think. Rosehips (the orange one) and sea buckthorn (green one). I will put a few small balls of the green into (the first in the Machrahanish range). Original colour for comparison in small ball. I will show some to Anne Stewart knitwear to get her professional view. I am happy to discuss any small commissions if you want a larger amount. DM me for more info on this. Meanwhile visit www.kintyreyarn.co.uk and I would appreciate any likes and shares . Your feedback is important to me. Next week I hope to have another two dyes tested from Machrahanish and will be launching our first knit kits any day now. Watch this space!🥰

First colour commission dropped to Anne Stewart Knitwear. Natural soft colours from my Kilkenzie autumn range using autumn willow (the slightly orange tone) and jaggy nettle (green tone) with the last ball being the natural cream colour. Very excited to see what Anne produces with these. All in our home grown Scotch Mule wool. Follow us and share. Visit my store on www.kintyreyarn.co.uk and send me a message or email if you want to commission some coloured wool. The process takes a little longer a week or two to fulfil. Ask in if you’re interested locally and they can let me know

Jo and I like this colour but I am planning a 200% wtf batch. I’ve only made a small amount as I need to understand if people like it before doing more. Let me know what you think. I’ll pop this small batch into in kintyre 25g balls just to see what people think so pop in and have a gander
