STRAWBERRY BACON JAM ON A SMASH BURGER?! 😳🍔

I genuinely thought the chef at Jack's Street Food in Downpatrick had lost the run of himself when he handed me this 😂

Two smashed beef patties, cheese, homemade strawberry bacon jam, cream cheese & jalapeños…
Sounds absolutely mental.

But mate… it WORKS. 🔥
And that wasn’t even the end of it.

🍔 Proper smash burgers
🍕 ’Nduja pizza that was seriously good
🔥 Buffalo wings
🍟 Crispy chicken loaded fries with Buffalo sauce & sour cream

Those loaded fries were DEADLY too. 🤤
I’ve eaten some amount of burgers doing Eat Sleep Review Repeat, so when somebody gives me something I’ve genuinely never had before, I remember it.

This isn't really a review video.

It's probably the most honest video I've put on here.

When I was a kid, I always had this thing in my head that one day I'd build something that worked.

I'd buy my mum the diamond necklace I promised her 😂
I'd look after my dad.
I'd look after my family.
And now I've two kids of my own, I want to build something that might actually give them a better future too.

I've tried businesses. I've had ideas that went nowhere. I've failed plenty of times.

But I've never stopped trying.

For the last 14 months I've been building Eat Sleep Review Repeat — travelling around, filming businesses, spending my own money, posting hundreds of videos and trying to turn what started as a social media page into a proper video-led discovery platform for Northern Ireland & Ireland.

Now I've built the ESRR Club alongside it.

And I'm genuinely terrified that I'll spend years trying to build this one person at a time, then somebody with a massive budget sees the potential and does it quicker.

So I'm asking for something that costs absolutely nothing.

(AD) LISNASKEA… I think I’ve just found one of the BEST smash burgers I’ve had in a long time. 🍔🔥

I called into Burgerbel Smash Burgers in Lisnaskea and this place absolutely delivered.

🍔 The Burgerbel — double smash patties, double cheese, caramelised onions, chilli relish and garlic mayo.

The seasoning on the beef was top, top notch and that combination of sweet onions, relish and garlic mayo just WORKS.

🌶️ I also tried their Mexican-style smash burger — and this thing was ridiculous. Big flavours, properly smashed beef and absolutely loaded with toppings and sauce. 🤤

🍟 Then the chicken loaded fries — skinny skin-on fries, tender chicken pieces, peppercorn sauce and cheesy sauce. Proper comfort food and a serious portion.

What impressed me most was the flavour in the burgers themselves. You can throw all the toppings you want on a smash burger, but if the beef isn't seasoned properly, you'll know about it. These were bang on. 👌

If you're looking for smash burgers in Lisnaskea, County Fermanagh, Burgerbel is DEFINITELY one to put on the list.

And I’ve reviewed a LOT of smash burgers… this is comfortably up there with some of the best. 👀

(AD) STRABANE… HOW IS THIS COMING OUT OF A TAKEAWAY?! 🤯🔥

I called into Bistro 21 in Strabane and this definitely isn’t your standard takeaway.

There’s no sit-in restaurant — it’s collection and delivery only — but they’re knocking out proper restaurant-quality food to take home. 👀

The grilled chicken with chilli mash, to***co onions and pepper sauce was absolutely OUTSTANDING 🤤

And those burgers… proper thick patties, good mince, packed with flavour and cooked spot on. 🍔🔥

Everything I tried was unreal and the staff were lovely too.

Now I need the Strabane people to tell me…
