Braehead Foods has always been a family-run business, and today it’s led by sisters Gill, Managing Director, and Aileen, Director of Operations.

With years of experience between them, their partnership plays a big part in how the business runs day to day.

To mark International Siblings Day, we asked them what they value most about working together.

For Gill, it’s the shared drive and having someone who truly understands the business inside out:

“I love working with Aileen as she shares the same dedication and passion for the company. I appreciate leaning on her as a sounding board, and with 20 years in the business she really knows operations inside out. I also like that I can ask her to fill my water bottle up from the water cooler, I wouldn’t ask anyone else to do that!”
