We took advantage of the nice weather last week and cooked a whole chicken with citrus, fennel and fresh herbs, served with an orange and herb salad. This was a recipe. So good.

After 2 years of not properly using the polytunnels and outdoors beds, getting everything back to this stage has been a big job. We’ve been a little later getting things into the ground because of this, but it’s nice to finally see some progress! Huge thank you to Lydia for all the hard work- and we even have our first flower 🌼

A busy few weeks on the farm as we get everything ready for the season ahead 🌱

The outdoor beds are prepped, the polytunnels are coming together, and there’s a real sense of progress. Lydia’s been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to get everything in top shape for planting - exciting times as it all starts to take shape.

Our young pasture-raised birds are really coming into their own 🥚

They’ve started laying more eggs, and we’re noticing a beautiful jump in size too. A sure sign they’re happy, healthy, and thriving out in pasture!
