Well Here’s something to read (if you can be bothered 😝):
Last week, we took a quick trip to Italy….Thursday night to Sunday morning. Whilst walking around I was stopped high fived and hugged by a friend in Italy and greeted by two more!!
My wife (Lucy) said something interesting: she said “what would 15 year old Danny think to that” I was a bit taken back because I’m never very proud of the things we’ve achieved as a business and individually. I can easily talk about it but I never take time to enjoy it, mainly because I’m working on the next thing and the next thing and the next thing.
I’m 35 (nearly) and I have everything I want, a healthy and happy wife and two amazing boys 👦.
Interestingly we went to Springwood school to do a talk on pizza this week, and the teacher asked if I’d done food tech in my GCSE’s which I didn’t.
I didn’t really know what I wanted to do when I left school. But I fell into being an electrician (I became the best at that quite easily……I’m joking before all the electricians turn up outside my house with your impact drivers and cable cutters)
Now to be proud: we’ve had some of the best pizza chefs in the world eat our pizza including chefs that have featured on chefs table Netflix!
One of them was part of the panel in Rome that awarded our pizza! 🏆
We’ve competed across the world 🌍 🇺🇸 🇮🇹 🏴
And for two years running been named in the top 40 in Europe.
Now we are pushing to create the pizza team uk and it’s nearly built for Parma next year. And (look away if you’re married to me) I am
In the middle of planning a big party in Parma next year!
I’m lucky in some respects but we’ve been through pain in our lives personal and work wise and we have worked extremely hard to do these things.
So in conclusion 15 year Danny would of been happy to just not have to wear foundation to cover his spots anymore let alone all that 👆 🤷♂️ .
