COOKED CHICKEN SPECIAL | Yes you heard right. £5 cooked chickens available from 1030am today ONLY. These are 1.4kg fresh local chickens, Now the weather is getting a touch warmer we are making your tea decision easy tonight. 😊 Perfect to pair with new potatoes and asparagus (last few days!). We are cooking over 60 throughout the day, so plenty should be available, however we are not taking bookings for these so if you are making a special journey later in the day feel free to call first to avoid disappointment!

DAD PORK PIES | We’ve had alot requests for our Dad pork pies this year for Fathers Day. As such our wonderful pastry team have knocked up a few hundred of these “DAD” pork pies ready for the weekend! These are our large 1lb+ pork pies and cost just £5.45 each. What better present to get the ol’ man than a homemade, deep filled, personalised hot water pastry pork pie! 😋 Available as from this afternoon, and strictly on a first come, first served basis with no reservations taken (sorry - it’s just an impossible task!) If you want one of these brought for you this weekend don’t forget to get tagging your children to get you one! 😉

WEEK AHEAD | So much to say, so little time. Here’s a quick snapshot of a few bits and pieces going on for the week ahead;

1) HASLET - 10% off our best homemade haslet ALL WEEK LONG! Now just 99p/100g. Perfect for sandwiches and salads. Can be brought by the ball or sliced in packs.

2) HANGER STEAKS - Always requested but largely unknown. Plenty available this week. 😃 Makes the most amazing flavoursome meat when cooked long and slow. Just £14.95kg

3) ASPARAGUS - Season always finishes on the longest day of the year (21st) so just 6 days left of this! Make sure you grab some this week and enjoy whilst you can…

4) CHICKEN SAUSAGES - Again heavily requested. As such we’ll be making a tasty batch of our chicken garlic and herb sausages which will be ready tomorrow from 11am. Better still these are ALOT healthier than your average pork sausage.

5) NEW VEG SIDE - Dans had a little play about, and we’ve now added our Mediterranean mixed veg in a yare valley rosemary and garlic oil. Perfect to chuck the tray in the oven and enjoy with all sorts of teas!

6) DAD PORK PIES - We’ve made LOTS of these ready for the big week ahead. These will be cooked and ready from Wednesday afternoon onwards ready for Fathers Day this coming Sunday. No pre orders taken. Sorry.

Weathers looking good. England play on Wednesday. Father’s Day this weekend. And stacks going on in the shop. Bring it on 💪

DELI DEALS | Not one but TWO offers from the cook room today!

1) LARGE COOKED CHICKENS - £8.75 each. You guys seem to like this special we run occasionally so here it goes again…. A large, local, grade A, 2kg+ chicken COOKED for just £8.75 each! This will easily feed a family of 4-5 for tea and probably some left over. Only a limited number available. First come first served. Simply call the shop on 01553 773677 with your collection time and name. We’ll then get it freshly roasted for that exact time to save you doing any of the hard work!

2) HOT DOGS - Fresh finger roll with one of our jumbo homemade sausages. Just £1.95 each! Madness! Free sauce sachet also. These will be available from 11am onwards.
