Its competition time, lets talk about our Piccalilli, this year everytime l have made a batch of Piccalilli l have kept a record of it all you have to do is guess how many jars l will have made by December 15th and you could win this giant jar of Piccalilli. The person closest to the exact number wins and we will post it to you intime for Christmas.
If more than one person gets closest we will do names in a hat

Its that time of year again, Mr Hands on Preserves has lifted all the tomatoes that are left and those that don't ripen will go into another batch of Green Tomato Chutney (or two)

I have made some more Sloe Gin Pickled Beetroot today l think around 20 jars, these will be ready for our Christmas Markets. We pack the jars with Beetroot, Shallots, Bay Leaf, Caraway Seeds and our home made Sloe Gin, delicous x
