Saturday 11th July is our next hand-tied bouquet workshop.

Come and join us from 2pm

We will start with a little tour of our cutting garden and I’ll give you some top tips for cutting and conditioning flowers. You can then have an explore and pick some flower for your bouquet. We will then all come back together and practice making some hand-tied bouquets using the spiral method.
We follow the workshop with some tea and cake in the greenhouse

Come and join us for two and half hours of floral immersion!

We will take you on a tour of the cutting garden and show you which flowers are prime for picking in order to get the most out of them. We will give you some top tips for cutting and conditioning your flowers and guide you through the process of arranging them using the spiral technique.

Finish the afternoon with a cuppa and some cake in the greenhouse 💚

In the depths of winter, it’s so lovely to delve into the pictures from last season. Captured beautifully by
Sarah and I share a love for a yellow flower… a rare find!
I loved making these bouquets with some of my favourite ingredients - fragrant oregano, poppy seed heads, perennial coreopsis 💛 and cosmos ‘purity’. Loved it all. After reading an article this evening on the unregulated pesticides used on flowers I am so grateful there is a huge momentum in growing and sourcing local, organic flowers.
