What a day!
We served 110 people a freshly cooked two course Christmas Dinner free of charge with 23 volunteers over 3 days shopping, driving, cooking, serving, cleaning…

A huge thank you to all the churches, individuals and businesses who donated or gave their time to it.

Thank you to Heron Valley and Tesco Superstore Lloyd Maunder Kingsbridge for generous food and drink donations/ discounts and to South Hams Christian Fellowship for allowing the wider churches to use their spaces and kitchen.

Collaborating with the foodbank to get this meal to those most in need was essential- so thank you to Kingsbridge Food Bank for helping this to happen.

FREE two course Christmas dinner for families in Kingsbridge and the surrounding villages.

A Town Wide Initiative of the Local Churches

This Christmas local Churches and Businesses are joining together to provide once again a free freshly cooked two course Christmas dinner for local families at South Hams Christian Fellowship, The Chapel, between 33 and 35 Fore Street, Kingsbridge.

Offering:
-IN PERSON freshly cooked two course Christmas dinner + children's activities (Soft Play and crafts)

And if absolutely required:

-DELIVERY only to those who require it or those who do not have transport into Kingsbridge.

When?
✨Saturday 20th December

11.30am- Doors open/ Childrens activities begin
12pm-2pm (Lunch served/ delivered)

‼️Spaces are limited!‼️
Pre- Booking is Essential for both lunches IN PERSON and DELIVERY.

▪️Please note we are prioritising those who currently receive free school meals or current clients of Kingsbridge Food Bank.

Today we braved the rain and served 26 freshly made picnic lunches for families who might need the provision.

Homemade sandwiches, cake, fruit, crisps and a huge thank you to Heron Valley for donating fresh apple juices.

Thank you to all the donations and help from individuals, businesses and churches

Great to be out with Kingsbridge Youth For Christ serving hot chocolate too!

✨There will be four sessions on Thursday mornings, 10:30am to 12:00. Each session is discussion based and you’ll receive up-to-date, expert advice on different topics that will help you manage your money better, learn to budget, save and spend well.

💫18 Christmas Hampers! 💫
This Christmas the local churches, individuals and local businesses, together provided 18 families with a Christmas hamper serving 61 people including 33 children.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave their time to do the shopping, pack or deliver the hampers and to all those individuals and churches who donated financially to make this happen.
