We’ve had a fantastic few weeks exhibiting at the Devon County, Royal Cornwall and Royal Three Counties Shows. We’ve enjoyed great success with the Dorset Horn & Poll Dorset Sheep Breeders Association and have thoroughly enjoyed getting involved and learning more with the Hampshire Down Sheep Breeders' Association.

A huge thank you to all the judges and stewards for their hard work throughout the shows, and congratulations to all the fellow breeders we’ve had the pleasure of exhibiting alongside this season.

Our show Ram Lamb this season, Huish Inherit, will be heading to Carlisle at the end of August. And our Shearling Ram, Huish Humdinger, will be off to Llandovery on Saturday 27th June.

A week ago and a cracking couple of days at May Fair. It was our first time taking a run of 80 females and they sold exceptionally well, topping at 420gns with a strong average of 388gns.

Our shearling ewe also had a great day in the show ring, winning the Signet Recorded Class and collecting the Hall Lane Challenge Shield.

Next, we moved onto the rams, our first time taking shearlings, where we came 2nd in the show class before selling at 2000gns.

We’ve also added two new stock sires to the flock: Lot 77 from the Byeways Poll Dorsets and Lot 18 from the Braiseworth Poll Dorsets.
