Every Friday from 7pm – 9:30pm, beginning June 12th, we’ll be serving a beautiful plant-focused menu celebrating fresh herbs, fragrant spices, nourishing wholefoods and seasonal produce.

Our dishes are healthy, ethical and bursting with flavour — inspired by traditional Thai cuisine and crafted with care using produce grown here at High Nature alongside *organically sourced ingredients.

Each individual voice today may not be loud on its own, but seeing all of you here fills me with incredible strength.

Despite the intense heat, the turnout far exceeded my expectations. I would like to thank everyone and the event organizers.

🔒 The doors of Kid Hod Thai at Unit 6 have now closed down❤️

After six wonderful years, our little kitchen has finally come to the end of this chapter.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has supported us along the way.
To our amazing regular customers, who felt like family, we are deeply grateful for your loyalty and kindness. To our suppliers, pubs, venues, and every single person who stood by us through every situation — we truly appreciate you. And to all our staff who helped us through every challenge, 🙏🏼we couldn’t have done it without you.

This small kitchen only survived because of your support and belief in us.

Although the kitchen is now closed, Chef Nong will still be here and connected with all of you. We will keep you updated on what comes next, right here.

Nam Nuong is a delicious Vietnamese dish that has become a household favorite. Although it requires a meticulous and time-consuming preparation process, every time we get to make it, it feels well worth the effort. Cooking is much like an experiment—an art form that allows the chef to design, experiment, and carefully craft the perfect flavors according to their own preference, all while maintaining a happy and liberated heart.
The charm of making Nam Nuong begins with the care put into marinating and kneading the pork until it reaches the perfect texture. We then air-fry it until fragrant. A special secret is using coconut oil instead of regular vegetable or animal oils, which adds a unique, succulent aroma. Alternatively, sesame oil can be used to impart an even more delightful scent.
To serve, simply dip the fresh rice paper in water until perfectly soft, then arrange the accompaniments. Place the warm grilled pork on the paper, followed by crisp salad greens sourced from the local market, raw banana, and green apple—which we use to add that sharp, refreshing acidity instead of the traditional sour mango. For those who enjoy a bit of heat, fresh chili adds a bold, spicy kick, while a touch of ginger provides a subtle, warming spice in every bite.
The final touch—the ‘star’ of the dish—is the signature sauce, packed with the rich texture of pounded roasted peanuts and cashews, finished with the wonderful aroma of toasted white sesame seeds.
