We use the best bloodlines available in the UK and Ireland, and aim to breed correct, true to type horses with exceptional temperaments, ability and movement. My parents and I have always loved the Irish Draught as a breed, and have always wanted to own a brood mare. However, it wasn't until 2009 when I lost my beloved 15yo Irish sports Horse that I had owned since a foal, that I realised that br
eeding was the only way I could ever replace him. Eventually I found her- or more importantly she found me, I walked into a beautiful meadow full of Irish Draught young stock at Ash Tree stud in Bedale, Yorkshire. Gina Exely was about to point out who was available to buy and who wasn't and 'Lottie' looked up and walked over to say hello. I asked if she was for sale and was thrilled to hear I could buy her! It was a long day fetching Yorkies Purple Diamond from Yorkshire (8 hours each way), but despite having never been in a lorry or traveled any distance before, she traveled well, settled well and has been a delight to own ever since. She is now graded Class 1 and was awarded a Hornby Premium in 2012 and we couldn't be prouder! Since then we have acquired a 2 yo C**t by Crosstown Dancer, and a Yearling Filly by Cappa Cassinova. Both these youngsters are out of the beautiful Mare that was Moylough Holly. She was a super natured mare who was full of substance and elegance. Winning Reserve champion mare at Dublin 2011 with Moylough Stud. Sadly we have had a bad run of luck and lost our yearling out of Lottie to grass sickness in 2012 and lost Holly and her foal in a difficult foaling 2013. Hopefully, our luck is due to change........
