Our little roadside Hut...what will you find in there today?

Well its simply flowers and eggs.

Flowers...local, seasonal and grown just down the road . Never the same always changing with the seasons.

Eggs from our small flock of Black Rock chooks. Happy free ranging about the fields.

But what will you do with them today?

Will you gift yourself some flowers to brighten up a little corner of your home. Will you give some to a pal to cheer them up, to say hey pal I'm here for you or to simply say I love you ❤️

Will you bake a birthday cake, wee buns, an omelette or a simple wee dippy egg for brunch?

So simply flowers and eggs can turn into so much more!

Did you know we do egg standing orders?

You can order how many you like at whatever frequency suits you. Simply let us know how many and what day you would like them and we can reserve them for you. It could be weekly, bimonthly or even just as and when.

We always try to keep The Hut well stocked but they can quickly run out sometimes. So this way you know you'll get what you need when you need it!

On our rounds for hen feed from EoSF Country Store,CouparAngus we made some small detours to bag some of our favourite local produce.

Berry stop Peter Marshall Farm Shop...not many made it home!

Then to Blairgowrie farmers market for a top up of pork and bacon from Donald and family Good-Life Farming. We also bagged some pies from Three Witches Tea Shop which have been scoffed!

So all in all a good weekend haul from some great small, independent businesses. We work hard for our £'s so we like to spend them where it matters to us.

Where's your favourite places to stop for weekend goodies? (Apart from our wee Hut of course 😂)

We may be small but there's always plenty going on!

From Blooming Bees; Scottish cut flowers farm, to eggs and our Trainview Livestock beef seeing the support from our local community always brings a smile. We are always so very grateful to each and everyone one of you who choose to spend your hard earned cash with us.

So coming up...well more of the same really, eggs and flowers daily, more beef boxes due end of September. And oh of you can't wait that long we have a small amount of frozen beef available from last weeks batch. Drop me a message if interested

We have some very limited availability in tomorrow's drop of beef boxes. All reared in our Trainview Livestock herd.

If you can pick up between 2pm-4pm on Saturday 15th August at Hillend of Burnside Kingsmuir DD8 2NT drop me a message to order.

So what do you get?...

✅️A 10kg box of our grass finished Native bred beef. (Beef Shorthorn x Irish Moiled)
✅️ A selection of Roasts, steaks, stewing, mince burgers and sausages. Essentially a 10 kg share of the animal.
✅️All vacuum packed, labelled and freezer ready.

Cost £200 per box

Further batches in September and October so we can add you to our waiting list if you miss out!

Is this the flower of the moment?

I think so! The weather has been perfect this year for Zinnia. Native to Central America they love it hot and boy are these guys hot! 🔥

Such zingy, tutti-frutti colours that bring a smile to all our bunches .
