It's going to be a dreamy evening of sauna magic with your host Charlie guiding the session and offering salt scrubs, clay face masks and if you're feeling brave a dip in the cold plunge!

Family Nature Club is back!

We are very excited to be launching our summer/autumn program that will run for 7 weeks from the 12th of September to the 24th of October!

The session will run saturday mornings from 10-11.30 and you can drop in on the day or buy a block of 4 weeks and save £5!

No need to prebook, just turn up on the day and pay at the till :)

*Our block of 4 sessions can be redeemed over a period of 6months, making it easy to fit around you and your little ones' schedule!

Drop-in session prices:

£7 per child. £10 for 2 siblings.
Accompanying adults free.

4 sessions:
£23 per child. £35for 2 siblings.

Saving seeds is such an important step to self sufficiency, for resilience in a changing climate & food sovereignty. We try & save as much of our own seed as we can as it also ensures the varieties we grow become naturally adapted to their local growing conditions, & become stronger & more resilient over time. This is a great time to think about saving tomato seeds 🍅 Choose the best performing plants, & select fully ripe fruit, scrape out the seeds, & ferment in water for afew days before drying & storing ready for spring 🌱

Hand Building Pottery Workshop with Rosie Tweedale

We are very excited to have the wonderful Rosie from Twig Ceramics hosting our nature inspired mug making workshop. In this workshop, you will learn how to hand-build your own mug by using the slab method. Add a handle and then decorate it with nature ‘stamps’ made from leaves, twigs and other natural materials foraged from the farm.

The session will start with a short walk on the land to forage for a selection of plants to use as textures to press into the clay. Rosie will then lead the session and show you step by step how to hand-make your mug and how to use pants and stamps to create textured surfaces.

Once you are finished, Rosie will take each mug to be glazed and fired, and it will be returned to Lovebrook 6 weeks later, fully transformed into your own piece of art!

*This session is suitable for ages 14+ and all under 16’s need to be accompanied by an adult.

Our title this year is Everything Is Here…

Why not pop in and explore the farm, experience the beauty of nature, and the natural materials we have all around us.

Plus all the usual Saturday offerings will be happening as usual - sauna and cold plunge, yoga drop in, coffee and pastries, freshly picked farm produce and more…

A beautiful day to harvest the first of our winter squash! Definitely earlier than usual but they are beautifully ripe already with all the heat of this summer & there is some rain on the way (hooray) so good time to get them into the polytunnel to cure for a while longer. In the next few weeks we will harvest all the blue (crown prince) squash & the butternuts that are still ripening so need a little longer in the field. Then a green manure will be sown on this plot to feed & protect the soil over winter 🫶🏻🌱

**Rise and Shine with Friday Morning Yoga at Lovebrook**

Would you like to join us for Friday morning yoga at Lovebrook? 8.30-9.30am every week.

We have a new 7 week term starting on Friday 11th Sept. It’s a lovely relaxed class, suitable for all bodies and abilities, and held in our gorgeous indoor space on the farm. It’s the perfect session to ease into the weekend. Stay for a stroll on the farm afterwards, or join in with our Friday volunteer day from 10am.

All welcome and pay what you can

***Join Our florist Fran Zoutewelle for a Summer Flower Bouquet Workshop at Lovebrook**

If you are looking to get creative, try your hand at floristry or want to enjoy a mindful afternoon in nature with good company, then this is the event for you!

The session will start by exploring the market garden flower beds, and learning about the varieties we grow and our chemical free methods here at Lovebrook. During the tour, Fran will teach you about cutting and conditioning stems, and you will harvest your own selection of fresh flowers to take into the atrium to work with.

Fran will then share floristry techniques so you can turn your freshly cut stems into a beautiful bouquet to take away with you.

Our Farm shop and cafe will be open from 10am -3pm so you can enjoy refreshments, and pick up fresh produce before or after the workshop.

Suitable for all ages and abilities - £12.50pp
