At Cranswick Sutton Fields, colleagues across all shifts had the opportunity this week to enjoy the latest products we've been working hard to bring to life for our customer.

Over two days, our teams came together to taste the products we've proudly produced, celebrating the hard work, dedication and collaboration that goes into every new launch. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to enjoy the finished products and see the results of the incredible teamwork that makes it all possible.

A huge thank you to Phillipa, our NPD Manager, and everyone involved in organising the tasting. It was great to see so many colleagues coming together to celebrate another successful product launch.

🌱 Giving Back to Our Community 🌱

We are proud to have supported the refurbishment of Mitchell Community Centre through a recent volunteering day led by colleagues from Cranswick Convenience Sutton Fields.

Our team spent the day clearing waste, decorating, deep cleaning, and restoring the centre's gardens, helping to prepare this important community facility for its long-awaited reopening later this summer. Working alongside local partners and stakeholders, we were able to make a real difference and contribute to creating a safe, welcoming space for local residents.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, including our volunteers, S&J for supporting waste removal, Refurbit Charity, G4, and Humberside Police for their encouragement and support.

This project reflects our commitment to supporting the communities where we live and work, and we are delighted to have played a part in bringing Mitchell Community Centre back to life.

Supporting grassroots sport is an important part of our commitment to the local community, helping young people build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Last week, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Week, some of our colleagues had the opportunity to volunteer at the EMS Therapy Garden in Hull 🌿💚

The EMS Therapy Allotment is a fantastic community space that promotes mental and physical wellbeing through gardening, outdoor activities, and social connection. Our team enjoyed getting involved, supporting the local community, and experiencing first-hand the positive impact that green spaces can have on wellbeing.

We’re proud to support initiatives that encourage mental health awareness, community engagement, and giving back. A big thank you to the EMS team for welcoming us and for the inspiring work they continue to do within the community.

This week, for Earth Day at Cranswick Convenience Foods, we held a fun team competition to raise awareness about recycling and encourage everyone to be more mindful of waste in the workplace. Alongside the competition, we created and displayed a recycling board for our team to follow, helping everyone understand how to separate waste correctly and encouraging better recycling habits.

The board was designed to be simple, clear, and engaging, reminding us that even small changes in our daily routine can make a big difference for the environment. After the competition, we were happy to announce that we had two winners who showed great effort and enthusiasm throughout. It was a really positive experience that brought the team together and helped us focus on creating a cleaner, greener workplace.
