The farm will be closed to the public throughout November, January and February in accordance with our licences and permissions. We will be open in December for our Christmas event, which will be advertised shortly.

Suzie's phone screen (which is the main farm contact number) is not working 😢.

She is going to get it fixed today, but if you need to get hold of someone urgently, please call Sam on 07719525200.

This also means that we cannot check bookings that have been made on the system, so if you have booked today, please bring your proof of booking with you (on your phone is fine).

Thanks.

Good morning!!

We are looking forward to seeing you all at tonight’s Oktoberfest Bonkers Bingo!!

Please note, if you are coming tonight, if possible, please can you bring cash to pay for your entrance of £10 each. This will help us to gather the cash prizes and pay for DJ John.

Always a great night and we can’t wait to see you there.

Your £10 pays for 5 games of bingo, lots of music and dancing, novelty prizes including a toaster and hoover and some cash.

All monies raised go to Little Haven Farm’s animals xx

Don’t forget Friday’s Bonker’s bingo!

It’s been a hell of a week personally, so it’s something we can all look forward too.

It’s good night and will raise much needed funds for the farm. You can just turn up on the night, but if you can book that would help us gauge numbers.

Also, if you have anything you can donate for prizes, let me know. The more we get donated, the more money we raise for the animals.

Hopefully see you there,

Suzie xx

Due to personal circumstances, farm is closed today.

Please bear with us while we juggling what’s going on personally with family and farm.

Our wonderful, experienced volunteers are looking after the animals for us and we are planning on the farm being open tomorrow with their wonderful support.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused,

Love,
Suzie

Hi everyone!

Happy October! We love this time of year for lots of different reasons but it also makes us sad. October is the month that we start to wind down for our mandatory closure in November.

We are open today 11am till 4pm and tomorrow 11am till 1pm. We are closing early tomorrow due to road closures in the area for our beloved Mayors Civic Service. Anyone recognise the 679th Mayor of Hedon? 🤣🤣

Why not come to farm tomorrow morning and then take a wander to watch our Suzie (The Mayor) in her parade on the way to the church. Parade starts around 1.30pm.

Please remember to book online via our website.

Thanks,

The LHF Team xx

As a community minded not for profit, we are very proud to have worked alongside Bishop Burton college, for over 3 years, offering work experience placements for a number of students. Last year there was over 800 hours of work experience done at farm.

We are starting to get a number of placement requests from prospective students, which is lovely, but due to the number of requests, we are asking that all students submit a CV and covering letter. We do have a limit on the number of students that we can take. These should include relevant information about the student, things that interest them and the days that they are looking to come.

Providing a CV helps students prepare for the working world and gives us the opportunity to learn about the student before joining us. If the student has any needs, please make this known to us. We absolutley take students with SEND and have done many times. This helps to to prepare and make and put any reasonable adjustments in place.

Please send any applications to [email protected]. Many thanks, and we look forward to hearing from the applicants.

I Want to say a huge thank you to Jack at Interactive who has been wonderful. They have donated some straw, which we used immediately to bed our lovely animals, 5 picnic tables and lent us a selection of decorative farm animals and seating to our site. The people who have visited this weekend absolutely love them!

Also keep an eye out for what we are planning for Christmas this year! Interactive are a company which helps to plan and manage large events and illuminations and they are being so kind, they’re helping us plan a Christmas like we’ve never had before!!

I can’t tell you how excited we are!
