A little late taking the supers off the hives. It’s been a challenging year, it was a really strong spring and swarming was almost impossible to prevent. A couple of bad reactions to stings early in the year have left me less ‘enthusiastic’ so the bees have been a little neglected the last couple of months. Came out of winter with 5 hives, got up to 11 but lost a nuc and then lost another hive to wasps robbing the honey. 🍯 🐝 🌺.
