This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Pierre-Alexandre Gazaille from Château Cantemerle, the prestigious 5ème Cru Classé estate in Bordeaux, to Yorkshire for a series of wine dinners and tastings. 🍷

It was fantastic to share the history, philosophy and wines of Château Cantemerle with many of our customers. From intimate dinners to engaging tastings, each event provided an excellent opportunity to taste a range of vintages and learn more about one of the oldest properties in the Médoc.

A huge thank you to Pierre-Alexandre for your generosity, expertise and passion in presenting both the wines and the history of Château Cantemerle, and to everyone who joined us and helped make the events such a success.

We are proud of this partnership and look forward to continuing to bring exceptional wines and memorable experiences to our customers.

We're delighted to share that Gardet Brut Premier Cru Blanc de Noirs has been awarded a Gold Medal at the 2026 Drinks Business Champagne Masters. 🍾

Crafted exclusively from Premier Cru vineyards in Hautvillers, this outstanding Champagne impressed the judges, who described it as:

"Pale straw colour with a powerful mousse, this wine has an expressive nose, with notes of raspberry, pineapple, lime and just a touch of barley sugar. The palate is rich and creamy, with plenty of succulent fruit, crisp acidity and a very fine texture."

Made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Pinot Meunier, and aged on its lees for at least three years, this Blanc de Noirs is a superb example of Champagne Gardet's craftsmanship and attention to detail.

A worthy Gold Medal winner and a must-try for Champagne lovers!🥂
