With the first cold snap upon us, now's the time to turn off your outside taps using the isolating valve inside your house. Then leave the outside tap open to allow any water to drain and prevent damage in freezing temperatures.
This is far more effective to prevent damage than any kind of insulation.

Digital Development lead person needed!
Hull Water Softeners / Aqualibrium UK Ltd are recruiting for a flexible multi-skilled in-house digital development person.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in at least some (not necessarily all) of the following areas and a keen interest in developing in other areas.

Website development (WordPress/ Woocommerce / Shopify)
Graphic design for online and print (Adobe suite)
Webmaster (domains / DNS / hosting / networks)
Systems development / integration (Orderwise / Sage Accounts / Mondaycom)
Copywriting / marketing communication
Photography
Video (Osmio pocket 3 for YouTube and social media)
Social media content creation
SEO / SEM
Facebook and Google advertising

This role is ideal for someone with a level of competence in some of the above, and looking to expand their knowledge and skills.

It's a key role in our business which spans Lincoln and Hull, and is based in our branch on Anlaby Road. The role also requires some customer interaction and telephone answering as the branch anchor person.

A can-do attitude, strong synergy with our business values and culture and ability to work as a key member of our team are all important attributes.

We're open to discussion about full or part time working to fit around existing commitments, and also to someone self employed in a related field seeking regular hours and income.
Hours and pay to be discussed depending on track record and experience.
