💗 A Heartfelt Message & Notice of Price Change 💗
Dear lovely customers,
This message comes from the heart and with deep appreciation for your continued support of my little cake business. As many of you know, baking is not just my job — it’s my passion. I truly pour my heart and soul into every cake I create, and I’m so grateful to each and every one of you who has trusted me to be a part of your special moments.
However, like so many small businesses, I’m feeling the impact of the rising costs of ingredients and supplies — from sugar, eggs, flour and butter to cocoa, packaging, and even equipment. These increases have quietly been piling up over time, and I’ve been absorbing as much of the cost as I can, for as long as I can. For ingredients alone for a basic sized cake it costs almost £30 before I turn on the oven and work on the cake .
But now, I find myself at a point where I have to make a very difficult decision.
To continue offering you the quality, care, and creativity that my cakes are known for, I will be implementing a price increase from 01/09/2025 (not including already priced orders)
This decision hasn’t come easily. I know times are hard for many families right now, and the last thing I want is to add to that burden. But the reality is — I work incredibly long hours, often late into the night, and after covering all the costs, there’s very little left to show for it. I also hope to reclaim some precious time with my family.
I truly hope you understand this change, and I promise to continue giving my all to every single order. Your loyalty, kindness, and support mean the world to me — and I couldn’t do this without you.
