We're delighted that Simon and Bobby will be travelling to Ålesund, Norway this weekend as guests of the Holmeset family, owners of the longline fishing vessel Geir.

Each year, the Norwegian Seafood Council invites winners of the National Fish & Chip Awards on a study trip to Norway, offering a unique opportunity to experience life aboard one of Norway's Frozen-at-Sea fishing vessels. This year's trip is being hosted by Geir, and we're proud to be joining the category winners for what promises to be an insightful and memorable visit.

Smales has enjoyed a long-standing trading partnership with the Holmeset family for many years, and we are especially pleased to spend time with Kjetil Holmeset and Ørjan Dahl of the Norwegian Seafood Company, both of whom have visited us in Hull on numerous occasions.

These relationships are at the heart of what we do - connecting the UK seafood industry with trusted fishing partners who share our commitment to quality, sustainability and excellence.

We're delighted that Simon and Bobby will be travelling to Ålesund, Norway,
