NewFest takes place on 22nd August. Ten independent businesses are working together to deliver a series of events across the day. This includes music, food, activities, and even a pop up film screening.
We are doing this for several reasons; firstly, we already have a strong working relationship, secondly independent businesses in this area are affected by the quieter summer period, and we’d like to offer the community an affordable and enjoyable day with a view to increase footfall in the area, and meet new people. This is the first time we’ve done anything like this, and we’d really like to keep it going and expand it in the future.
We’ll announce some more details next week, along with opening times, what’s on where and when, and how you can get involved. In the meantime, save the date and watch this space…
