Half-Term Treats at the Stables Kitchen!
Looking for a fun, delicious way to spend half-term? Our Halloween Afternoon Teas are here! They are available from Monday 26th October to 1st November, making them perfect for families looking for a special outing 🍰

👻 Under 12's Tea – £11
Sandwiches, sausage roll, crisps, fruit, scone with jam & cream, brownie, Victoria sponge, and a juice box.

🎃 Adults’ Tea – £22
Finger sandwiches, sausage rolls, cheese & onion quiche, scone with jam & cream, brownies, Victoria sponge, custard cream, and tea or coffee.

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available for both Kids’ and Adults’ Afternoon Teas.

✨ A NEW Christmas experience is coming to East Yorkshire…

This December, you won’t have to travel far to experience the magic of a spectacular Christmas light trail. For the very first time, Winterlight: The Tudor Glow is coming to Burton Constable Hall.

As darkness falls, follow an illuminated trail through our historic grounds before seeing Burton Constable Hall transformed by breathtaking light, colour and Tudor-inspired projections.

Expect glowing pathways, illuminated trees, dramatic installations and plenty of festive atmosphere along the way, all set against one of East Yorkshire’s most spectacular historic backdrops.

Winter Opening Hours Update 🕰️

Our winter opening hours begin today, Thursday 1st October 2026.

Burton Constable Hall is open from 11am to 4pm, with last admission at 3pm. The Parkland and Stables Kitchen are open from 10am to 4pm.

Please note that while Hall hours remain the same, the Parkland and Stables Kitchen now close an hour earlier at 4pm for the winter season.

What a weekend! ☕🍰🇬🇧

We’ve officially lost count of how many pots of tea were poured and how many slices of homemade cake were enjoyed during the 1940s Weekend here at Burton Constable!

Whether you joined us inside for a sit-down brew in the Stables Kitchen or grabbed a takeaway treat from our horsebox out on the grounds, it was non-stop from start to finish!🧁

A fantastic couple of days all round. See you back in the Stables Kitchen soon!

Planning to visit us this weekend? ☕🖼️

Please be aware that on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th September, the Stables Kitchen and Stables Gallery will be within the 1940s Weekend event area.

This means a 1940s Weekend ticket will be required to access the Stables Kitchen or Stables Gallery, even if you’re just popping in for lunch, a coffee or a visit to the gallery.

The Stables Kitchen will still be open throughout the weekend for event visitors, alongside additional outdoor food and drink vendors.

We’ve been shortlisted! 🎉

Earlier this year, we entered the Stables Kitchen into the Remarkable Cuppa Award – celebrating some of the very best cafés, tearooms and coffee shops across East Yorkshire.

And we’re delighted to say we’ve made the shortlist!

We think this calls for a celebratory cuppa (and perhaps a slice of cake…) 🍰☕
