9 for £15… and honestly, that’s amazing value.

Perfect if you’ve got a family pizza night planned, a party coming up, or just fancy making your own pizzas at home.

There’s something special about stretching your own dough, picking your toppings and getting the kids involved. It doesn’t have to look perfect (mine certainly didn’t when I started 😅) but I can assure you… it’ll taste amazing in your oven.

These are the same long-fermented dough balls we use for our pizzas, frozen so you can simply take out however many you need, when you need them. Keep them in the freezer and they’re there ready for spontaneous pizza nights.

🔥 Something new is coming to Papi Jim’s… and it’s not tomato based.

Meet our new BBQ pizza (name to be confirmed!)

Slow-pulled chicken, sweetcorn and red onion over a smoky BBQ base, finished your way with a little pot of the finest buttermilk ranch dressing we can get our hands on.

And trust us on the ranch…

My wife had a full-blown ranch obsession last year, so we ended up trying a lot of them.

Everyone of them got compared to the god of all ranch sauces, which (in our opinion) is from Wingstop.

We finally stopped on this one. I'm going to keep it secret for now, all I'll say is it is imported from America and honestly… it is unreal.

Creamy, tangy, proper addictive. Drizzle it on after baking and it absolutely makes this pizza.

Don’t like ranch? No problem — leave it off and enjoy a cracking BBQ chicken pizza anyway.

Pulled chicken keeps it light, works beautifully on our thin, airy base, and I’ll be honest… I think this one could be a star in the making ⭐

This photo is just dough, tomatoes and fire… but there’s a lot going on in that crust.

Made with Italian Caputo flour, fermented for 24 hours at room temperature to develop that light, airy rise and flavour. Topped with San Marzano tomatoes — naturally sweet, low in acidity and prized in Italy for making exceptional pizza sauce.

Then par-baked at 450°C for 60 seconds, where the magic happens. Those little leopard spots on the crust? That’s the sign of intense heat meeting well-fermented dough.

A light dusting of Caputo semolina gives a little crunch and texture underneath too.

I love that pizza can be something so simple, yet feel like art. Flour, water, tomatoes, salt… transformed by time, heat and care.

This is what I appreciate most about making pizza - chasing perfection in the small details.

The Story of Papi Jim’s 🍕

At 16/17, pizza was a weekly ritual for me. Standing outside the takeaway with a hot pizza box in hand, no thought about calories, ingredients or “balance”… honestly, the greasier the better, usually washed down with a full fat Coke.

Life was simple.

Then adulthood happened… and so did a slowing metabolism 😅 Portions got smaller, priorities changed, but my love for pizza never left.

Years later those little garden pizza ovens started appearing, and I bought an Ooni. That’s where the obsession really began.

And wow… there were mistakes.

Dough that wasn’t ready. Dough that was overproofed. Misshapen pizzas. Toppings launched into the flame. Some pizzas turned into charcoal. I used to get genuinely stressed cooking for people.

But after hundreds and hundreds of pizzas, little by little, the skills came. Stretching dough. Reading fermentation. Managing heat. Understanding what makes a great pizza.

I’m still learning now.

Fast forward to today, and pizza means something different.

It’s sitting around the table with my daughter, sharing our favourite food and having that quality time together ❤️

That’s really where Papi Jim’s comes from.

Because life is busy now. We both work full time, run a pizza business on the side, and like most people, we don’t always have time to plan meals perfectly.

Priorities change.

But we still want food that tastes great, feels a bit special, and is convenient.

That’s why I love what we do.

Pull a pizza from the freezer. Pop it in the oven. 5–10 minutes later, you’ve got something that feels like a treat, without ordering a takeaway.

Frozen pizza doesn’t have to be bad.

Papi Jim’s is really a story about nostalgia, family, and trying to make great pizza easy for busy people.

From teenage takeaway nights… to family pizza nights at home.

That’s the story of Papi Jim’s.

You’ve got that herby sausage kick, sweet shallots, then that tangy balsamic + honey bringing it all together 🔥
