Thank you to everyone who came and joined in the fun, we are truly grateful to everyone for raising such an incredible amount! Meet Jess one of the amazing volunteers that support CHAS at Rachael House Children’s Hospice .
Jess has just been picking up from Iain the Steak Burgers for the BBQ down at Kirkgate park for the Family Farewell to Rachael House Fun Day .

The families and friends from Rachael House will parade from Kinross High Street outside Hunters of Kinross at 10.15am to Kirkgate beside the Loch where their fun day will be packed with Bouncy Castles and entertainers 🎈🤡🍔
It’s a public event so please pop along and show your support from 11-4pm beside Loch Leven .

Rachael House is closing and being relocated for 2 years whilst their building is being refurbished .

We hope to see you there for a Burger and lots of fun .

🌳🎶 Farewell in the Park at Kirkgate Park, Kinross 🎶🌳

Join them this Saturday, 15 August, from 11am to 4pm for a special day of music, family fun and entertainment as they celebrate the incredible legacy of Rachel House and look ahead to its exciting future.

✨ Don't miss the Community Farewell Parade from 10.15am to 10.45am, featuring founding families, local groups, pipe bands, special vehicles and much more as they make their way from the Cross Well Fountain to Kirkgate Park. The parade participants would love your support along Burns-Begg Street as they journey to the park.

🎵 Live performances throughout the day 🎤 11.00am to 11.45am – Rock Choir performing contemporary rock and pop favourites.

🧺 12.15pm to 1.00pm – A family singalong with local musicians Malcolm and Alan, supported by Leven Voices. Bring your picnic rug, little ones and join in with children's favourites, old and new.

💃 1.15pm to 2.00pm – Contemporary dance from the talented young performers of Dance Connect.

🎸 2.30pm to 3.15pm – Alchemy, local acoustic duo Jerry & Jay, performing rock, pop, folk and country classics.

🎵 3.30pm to 4.00pm – St John's Pipers, ending with a special piece written for Rachel House.

🍔 Food and refreshments

• Hunters of Kinross are donating their Award Winning Premium Scotch Beef burgers
• Traditional ice cream from the Wee Ice Trike
• Coffee and refreshments from Kinross High School baristas
• Candy floss

🎪 Stalls and activities

• Rachel House plant stall – take home a piece of our beautiful gardens
• Tombola and raffle
• Children's games and activities
• Bouncy castle and disco slide
• Mini massages from local complementary therapists
• And much more!

🐾 Special guests Meet Lola the Therapy Dog and the Clown Doctors, who bring smiles and laughter to children and families at Rachel House.

📸 Character meet-and-greets and special vehicles Meet Sonic, Stitch and Bluey, and don't miss the Ghostbusters car and Batman car.
