It was our fist time at Burwarton Show on Thursday and what a great show it is, really busy with a lovely atmosphere and really helpful stewards.
It was not the easiest of journeys for us but we had an enjoyable day meeting all the public and answering their questions. We were at the end of the lines and thee first animals the public saw as they came into the livestock area, I don’t think our girls have every had so much attention 🥰
Foxhole Clover 11 HP, our yearling heifer, won her class and then reserve breed champion. Well done to the Williams family for winning overall champion with their lovely 2 year old ‘Ruby’.

A trip down to Cornwall last weekend to judge at Camborne Show.
A really lovely show with a great turnout of South Devons in terms of quality and quantity.
My chosen champion and pairs went to win overall champions in the interbreed and the group of 5 were reserve. 🎉🤩👍🏻 🏆

☀️ Haymaking 2026 🥵
Every few years we make small bales of hay to have to take to shows, chuck in the back of the truck for animals away from the farm and for the horses. It’s massively labour intensive but luckily we have fantastic family to help out a make it as fun as possible!! Some very tired bodies last night. A really good day at Hanbury Show yesterday, perfect showing conditions although we all got a little sunburn.
The highlight was Foxhole Clover 11 (HP) coming reserve Female Champion, winning the pairs and then the South Devons being champions in the ‘group of 4’ 🎉 🏆 💪

Just stood waiting for the haulier to arrive to pick up ‘Santos’ to take him to his new home. He’s really matured into a really good looking bull so we’ll be sad to see him go!
He’s probably happy as he has a new bunch of lucky ladies waiting for him the other end 🤣

A really lovely day at the Three counties show where the South Devon Herd Book Society held their National Show!
We were delighted to come 4th out of a strong lineup of 13 yearling heifers with Foxhole Clover 11. Foxhole Clover 9 came 6th out of the strong line up of 2 year olds.
Please come and say hello on the cattle sheds today, we are WH14.
Congratulations to Nikki & Kevin Finch for winning Breed Champion with their magnificent bull.

EDIT : NEW POSTCODE FOUND - thanks to everyone who have passed details on.

Looking for a new postcode as we have retained daughters this time. 5 years old.
He’s made a stamp on his progeny which have good shape and length.
Plenty of photos and videos of him and progeny available on request.
He’s been very easy calving even with heifers.
