Our 80th Cask Collection release for Summer 2026 brings together five individual casks drawn from distilleries with firmly established identities and reputations.
In whisky, certain expectations naturally follow particular names. Ardmore is associated with moderate peat smoke, Bunnahabhain with soft coastal character, and Pedro Ximénez maturation with dense sweetness and richness. Official bottlings typically reinforce these identities, creating recognisable and consistent styles over time.
Independent bottling offers a little more freedom.
Across five single casks, this release explores distillery character beyond those familiar expectations: unusual spirit styles, distinctive maturations, and whiskies that either challenge expectation or quietly exceed it.
As with all our Cask Collection releases, each cask in Cask Collection 80 is presented at natural strength, undiluted and unfiltered. With these selections we seek not to redefine these distilleries, but to show that whisky character is rarely as fixed as reputation suggests.
