While the warehouse will be open tomorrow (Monday 5th) it is evident that the current and forecasted weather is going to present some difficulties this week.

Some staff, particularly those who live out with the town, will face challenges getting in.

The offices will be manned but any help in placing orders by using the website or email will greatly assist preventing bottlenecks and is greatly appreciated.

Delivery, even within the town, will most likely be challenging to say the least.

We’ll do our best and appreciate customer’s patience and understanding.

What a week, what a stunning spectacle and what a community effort!

On the day our wonderful guests leave us, and we all come down off cloud nine while the sheer emotion of it all coming to an end is subsiding, we reflect on the twentieth Island Games.

Firstly, huge congratulations to all the athletes, in all sports, from all islands but a very loud cheer to the Orkney team and the medal winners – what stars you all are ❤️💙💛
(special shout out for our very own Shona Slater)

Massive congratulations and thanks to the army of local volunteers who marshaled, served, organised, fetched, carried and much more – a simply superb effort 👏👏👏

For us, we reflect on the week of hard work. Many cogs, big and small, had to work together – boy how they did:

❤️To our suppliers, they went many extra miles, thank you very much!
💙To our hard-working customers, they went even more extra miles, thank you very much!
💛Above all, to our wonderful staff who, to a woman and man went very many extra miles, thank you very much indeed!
