When T said he and the sheep dog were going for a walk and would check on last years lambs... why am I surprised??!!

Thursday T and I rooed last years lambs, yesterday my hubbie sheared the 3y old wedders and today it is a couple of cross bred ewes and our two Boreray rams who will be shorn once they are drier! (love our sheepdog, she is an unsung hero!) Oh and one of my fave hens is sitting on 22 eggs.

Today we get the sun and high temperatures those south of us have been basking in... and a friend pointed out baby jellyfish in the harbour as I boarded the ferry to go work in town. Don't usually look for jellyfish till late July!! How adorable is this??

Our 2y old Boreray wedders (on rented land) are in no way bucket trained!! Shetland cross Felix is too greedy to be cautious and the rest wait to see if he'll live.. official food tester! The 4 in the distance cantered up only once the car engine started for me to drive away!!
