Hedging our bets with the weather this weekend! If you need a warm-up then you might like our Ruby Raspberry Hot Chocolate, topped with cream and freeze-dried raspberries. Or if our Tiramisu Iced Latte is still calling you, then take a trip to Scapa for its last weekend on the Specials board for a while.

And Thursday is coming round again already! With the weather forecast showing a bit of rain this weekend we thought we'd be ready with a couple of warm puds and pulled out this oldie from the recipe book. A baked nectarine sponge pudding with a nectarine-honey glaze. The taste testers at home have confirmed this should be served warm and swimming in custard. We can do that! 😋

Tuesday is our planning day for the weekend drink specials and bakes. We had been thinking to do something new on the drink specials but are still getting requests for the tiramisu iced latte. So it's over to our customers. Another week of tiramisu iced lattes or a change? Let us know in the comments. Hello all, just a last reminder that we will be closed on Saturday 27th June while the Kirkwall RNLI is serving refreshments to raise funds during the St Ayles Skiff Regatta 2026 hosted by Orkney Rowing Club.

Hello all, fully rested and ready to go again for your cuppa tomorrow (Thursday), Friday and Sunday this weekend. We've had a couple of requests for the return of our tiramisu iced coffees sometime, so let's just have them back this weekend! And for the banoffee cake lovers, it'll be there on Thursday till sellout. For Friday, we're thinking something with fresh cream and strawberries, we'll let you know 😋.
