Join Master Blender Ron Welsh and Distiller Paddy Sinclair for Dinner at Dusk: Meet the Makers at Bothy Distillery on Saturday 17 October.

The evening begins with a welcome drink and canapés, followed by a guided tasting of our Glen Prosen new make spirit beside the stills. Then, as dusk settles over the glen, we’ll gather around the table for a three-course dinner and an evening with the people behind Glen Prosen Highland Single Malt.

We’ll also be raising a glass to Ron on his birthday—and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than together around the stills and the dinner table. 🥃

Last week, our Master Blender Ron Welsh joined Paddy to sample the development of our new make spirit, from our very first distillation through to number 34.

It takes around 50 distillations for new stills to settle and reveal their character, and already Ron is finding some lovely bright, citrus notes; including lemon sherbet.

An exciting journey as we continue to discover the character of Glen Prosen Highland Single Malt. 🥃🍋

Join Ron, our Master Blender, and Distiller Paddy Sinclair for Dinner at Dusk: Meet the Makers on Saturday 17 October at Bothy Distillery.

From the glen to the jar 🍂

We spent the day foraging rowan berries with Carrie, then headed back to the Bothy to turn our harvest into rowan jelly. A lovely way to slow down, learn something new and enjoy a little taste of the season.
