We thought we would do something a little different this week and introduce Steve to our new followers. Here's Steve as a young Chef and granted he looks a little different today but still as talented and passionate about his food. Here is what Steve had to say.

"Last of the classicly trained in city & guilds 706 1&2, I’ve worked in some of Englands finest hotels & restaurants such as savoy hotel, London, Lygon arms hotel, Broadway, East lodge, Rowsley and Castle Howard. Getting a job still at school & starting cooking at early age, gave me the idea on my path as like many I had no idea when leaving school, working my way through the ranks in every aspect of catering from small to large numbers becoming head chef at a early age,, not wanting to loose my knowledge and passion for food it’s still with me to make my own using the finest and best ingredients we can get. And what better way than to follow my dream and open Little Yorkshire of Kiveton Park . "

Good food doesn't need to complicated, even the simplest of dishes , done well can be that tastiest thing.... You can't beat an well made burger or pie in my opinion.

Steve doesn't stop working, even on Sundays he is often found chefing for people or restaurants in need as is the case today! Luckily he has the best team around him who hold down the fort and keep the standard of food the same as Steve.
