💙 A Massive Thank You! 💙

While I was away, our amazing volunteers Anji, TJ and Kenny took the initiative to hold a fundraiser at Morrisons for our food pantry, raising a fantastic £148.15! 👏

A huge thank you to Lindsay and everyone at Morrisons for their continued support. So much food was also generously donated, which is a massive help towards all the support we provide to local people and families through our pantry. 🥫❤️
Thank you to everyone who donated and to our wonderful volunteers for always going above and beyond for our community. 💙

💙 A Huge Thank You to GMI! 💙

We are incredibly grateful to have received £2,500 in funding from GMI to purchase food for our community food pantry. 🛒🥫

The video shows just some of the food we’ve been able to buy to restock our back-up stock room. At the moment, we are overwhelmed by the number of people needing support, and demand for our pantry continues to grow.

Funding like this is absolutely vital and enables us to help even more local people and families when they need it most.

💙A big thank you to The Railway Pub in Knottingley 💙

We would like to say a massive thank you to the Railway Pub and all of their amazing customers and staff for such a generous donation of food for our little pantry. Two car trips ❤️ Your kindness will make a real difference to local families who are struggling right now.
A special thank you also to James Gibson who very kindly spent £100 of his own money also to help support the pantry and those who need it most. That level of generosity truly means the world to us. He’s offered to work with the centre all year and support where he can which is truely amazing for our centre 🙏❤️
I know it’s really hard for the hospitality industry right now so to be helping those in need is a credit to you all at the pub ❤️

All week especially today has been overwhelming, with so many people reaching out for support and struggling to afford food — something that should be a basic need and simply shouldn’t be happening in this day and age.
Because of all his and his customers kindness we are able to keep helping those who need it most. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts 🙏❤️
