As I prepare to leave my role as General Manager at The Welcome Knutsford Ltd, I want to thank all the staff, customers, volunteers and trustees for everything over the years. It’s been a real pleasure, and I’ll take away lots of lovely memories and friendships ❤️

I’d also like to wish Suzy, our new General Manager, the very best of luck in her new role. She brings with her a wealth of experience, and I’m sure she’ll do a fantastic job 😁

Thank you all again for being part of my journey. You’ve made my time at The Welcome very special, Lucy 🥰 xx

Our Over-55s Luncheon Group enjoyed a delicious roast ham lunch today! 😋

Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after our physical health 💙

Sometimes, talking to someone, having a friendly face to turn to or getting a little help with something that's worrying you can make all the difference 😊

At The Welcome, we know how important it is to feel supported and connected. Alongside our counselling service, we welcome a number of different organisations who run drop-in sessions here, offering advice, guidance and practical support with a range of issues

Whether you need someone to talk to, some help working through a problem or simply a friendly place to spend some time, we're here to help you find the right support 👍

What a fabulous afternoon we had celebrating The Welcome’s 30th birthday with a lovely afternoon tea and so many wonderful friends last week 😁

It was such a special afternoon, filled with lots of laughter, memories and plenty of cake! 🥳

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped us celebrate this very special milestone - It really was lovely to see so many familiar faces 💙

Our Meals on Wheels service is here to provide you with a delicious and nutritious meal throughout the week for £7.75 😋

But it’s about more than just the food. Our friendly delivery team will also take the time to check in with you and have a little chat. Having a friendly face visit regularly can make a real difference and provide some lovely connection throughout the week ☺️

CAP Debt Help will be at The Welcome on the first Monday of every month until December, offering friendly and practical advice to anyone who needs a little help with their finances 😊

The next drop-in session is Monday 5th October, from 1pm – 3pm

We’re celebrating 30 years of The Welcome with a lovely Afternoon Tea on Friday 2nd October at 12.30pm 🫖

It will be a chance to come together, share memories, have a chat and celebrate all that The Welcome has meant to our community over the years 🥰

This is an adults-only event and we’d absolutely love you to join us for what we hope will be a really special afternoon 😁
