Two different parenting styles.
Bonnie has walked Bart all over the croft he is never further than a few feet away from her. She is staying a safe distance away from the herd.
Murray is acting as if she does not have a calf. He remains tucked up hidden in a dip with camouflage rocks around him. It took me 15 minutes of hill walking away from her to find him fast asleep.

Second day with new calf - Jamie. Murray completely unbothered, enjoying foodie treat, so we managed both ear tags!
Then we trekked off to find Bonnie and Bart. Holy moly she was as far away as is possible, took one look at us from a huge distance and was off again. At least we saw Bart bouncing along next to her so we retreated and left them in peace.

Bart with his one ear tag! Bonnie decided to jump about a bit, first time Mum and a bit defensive so we backed away while we were still in one piece 😉.
